Six months ago, my brother-in-law lost his job and my wife begged me to let him crash at our place. I agreed, thinking it’d be temporary. Fast forward: he’s still here, hasn’t paid a dime, and I’m the only one cleaning up after his mess (and his dog’s). Now he’s finally working at Walmart, but spends his paycheck on fast food for him and my wife—while I get ignored. They’ve turned our living room into a gaming den, staying up all night, while I work all day and pay every bill. Today, when the AC broke, he shrugged me off, saying work excused him from helping.
