Early Morning Commute: Dealing With Persistent Tailgaters

Driving to work at 4AM on an almost empty toll road should be peaceful, but lately, I’ve had some unsettling experiences. Twice now, different cars have sped up just to follow me closely for miles, even when there’s no one else around. It’s made me rethink my driving habits and how to stay safe. If you ever feel uncomfortable with someone following you, stay calm, avoid speeding up, and don’t engage. Stick to well-lit routes and consider taking a different exit if you feel threatened.
