Talking to Teens About Expensive Phones: Setting Realistic Expectations

Lately, my teenager has been begging for the latest iPhone, and I can see how much they want to fit in with their friends. It’s tough as a parent to say no, especially when I remember wanting things as a teen just to feel included. But explaining our family’s financial priorities is important. I try to share with my teen that while we may not always have the newest gadgets, we have everything we truly need.
