Why Is It So Hard to Merge? My Frustrating Freeway Story

Ever been stuck trying to merge, only to have every car speed up and block you out? That happened to me today. I was cruising at 57mph in my Jeep, passing slowpokes on the right. I signaled to move over, but the guy behind me darted into the right lane, blocking my way. Suddenly, everyone else started passing me on the right too. Why is it so hard for drivers to let someone over? A little patience goes a long way. Next time, try easing up and letting someone merge. It could make everyone’s drive smoother.
