Self-control is HARD. 😅 But I’ve learned it’s not just something you’re born with… you can actually build it up! Here’s what’s worked for me: • I hype myself up! I keep a list of WHY I want to change and remind myself daily. 🙌 • I set tiny, realistic goals. No more trying to change everything overnight—slow and steady wins! • I stay positive, even when I mess up. I journal, reframe my thoughts, and just try again. ❤️ • I pay attention to my triggers and remove temptations. (Goodbye, junk food in my pantry!) • I use deep breathing when urges hit. Five minutes can make a HUGE difference. • I move my body! Exercise really helps me stay in control. • I track my wins and setbacks in a journal or app. • I forgive myself when I slip up. Progress, not perfection! • I ask for support when I need it—friends, family, or even a pro. Building self-control is a journey, not a sprint.
