Unpopular Opinion: Not Everyone Is Meant for This Life

Sometimes I wonder if life is truly for everyone. It may sound harsh, but I genuinely believe that some people just aren’t equipped for the journey, whether it’s due to biology, upbringing, or something else. I often feel like I’m one of those people—always on the outside, watching others fit into roles that never made sense to me. Maybe society pushes us to pretend, to fit molds that don’t suit us. I totally agree with you. The journey through life is not for the faint hearted. It can be cruel, unfair, hateful and I believe many people don't have the fortitude to ride the waves up and down with no relief in sight.

for me personally, I'm not of this world. I'm of a Heavenly realm. I will never feel like I fit in this world, and I'm OK with that

I believe with all my heart that each and every human born on this earth has fundamental value and it’s society and the worst of humanity that we don’t embrace one another in whatever capacity we have and rid of unjust labels and negative stereotypes.

Or when you are excited and deep in discussing a topic and the other person has fell asleep by the time your done talking. Or when you meet people you like to talk to them and ask them their opinions on things and they literally are trying to escape you by slowly backing away... I don't belong here I realize. Never was intended to fit.

Agreed. And checking out should be a viable option for anyone who chooses it.

Society definitely pushes us to pretend. If we ever want to be successful, there’s always that clique that we have to assimilate to. There isn’t much elbow room for being genuine or original. That can lead to disillusionment. Life is really what you make of it. You find what suits you and you keep working at it.

agreed. I , myself believe I will somehow die at my own hand. when I think about living, the near future, distant future, commitments... anything you need to accomplish to make it through this place, gives me a sick feeling .not really nausea, no pain... But I used say to my Mom in kindergarten, "I feel like I don't belong here." she would ask " you don't belong where? here at home, at school..?" And I would say "not anywhere in the world." I can't describe just like I wasn't meant to be here, I believe some aren't .I'm 44 now & the ones I felt, had feelings alot like mine... most of them (not all, but most) are gone. about half were accidental overdoses & the rest were suicides, they chose to leave. including my father, a best friend, a cousin & someone I was very much in love with. thats excluding the countless good friends I've lost.where do you turn one of them hope left? after all that's happened - I feel like I should be allowed to hate this💯I

I think a lot of people feel that way just most are afraid to say how they really feel for fear of rejection bc it’s not “normal” but really what is “normal”?

Self absorption is deceitful and dangerous. Looking outside yourself to help others with similar difficulties is one way out of a cycle of despair. There are other ways too, and they are found in the Bible.👍🏼 Here, you begin to realize that you are wonderfully and fearfully made, uniquely fit to help others in a way that no one else can.

I feel that way every day! I say I feel barely human. I just react. I have no form of life I just live and no I don’t think I was meant for this world.
