Stop Asking for Grades You Didn’t Earn!

I’ve gotta be honest—I'm SO tired of parents and kids asking me to bump up grades they just didn’t earn. 😅 • I teach AP, and not everyone’s an A student. That’s just real life! • Lately, I keep hearing, “But my kid’s dream is to be valedictorian!” 🙈 Like... valedictorians don’t need to ask for grade bumps, right? • Had a parent email me: “My kid didn’t understand the instructions, that’s why they missed half the assignment.” But everyone else got it? 🤔 • And then there’s the classic: students run to their counselors to complain, and the counselors send them right back to us. Round and round we go! Honestly, I just want everyone to know: EARNING your grade is what matters.
