Ever feel like you wanna seem a little smarter in a room? 🙈 I totally get it! Here’s what I do when I wanna look (and sound) like the sharpest tool in the shed: • I listen more than I talk. (People love a good listener!) • I ditch the "umm" and "like"—proper grammar goes a LONG way. • I slow down and pronounce my words. No more "kinda" or "gonna" for me! • I avoid textspeak. Sorry, "LOL"—not today. 😅 • I stick to topics I actually know about. No faking! • I sprinkle in a smart quote or two. (Bonus points if it’s from a poet!) • I use a few “big” words—just not too many! • I ask questions and stay curious. It’s okay not to know everything. • I dress the part—glasses and a cardigan, anyone? • I keep up with current events so I’ve always got something to say. At the end of the day, confidence is KEY.
