Insurance Drops Patient Last Minute?!

Imagine being prepped for a life-saving lung transplant, only for your insurance to pull the plug hours before. That’s what happened to Deron Wells in California—Cigna approved his double-lung transplant, then reversed their decision the day he was set to leave for surgery. His family is devastated, and the internet is fuming, calling out the coldness of insurance companies. People are rallying for Deron, but wow, the system feels so broken right now. #HealthcareFail #InsuranceNightmare #PatientAdvocacy #Cigna #LungTransplant #Health

These insurance companies know that in order to receive a lung transplant you have to get a donor and if they don't allow the recipient to have the surgery that donor lung could become useless. The United States is one of the wealthiest countries in the world and yet we still don't have universal health care and that again is because the powers that be get millions of dollars from the insurance industry.
