My partner vetoed half my favorites (RIP, "Aurora"), but it helped us focus. 🔹 Say the full name out loud. I realized "Roxy Rose" sounded like a cartoon character—lesson learned! 🔹 Check the initials! I almost picked a name that would've made her initials "P.U." 🙈 🔹 Ask for family input (but don’t let them decide). My mom suggested "Gertrude"—I had to politely decline! 🔹 Imagine your child as an adult. "Sunny" is adorable for a baby, but will it fit her at 40? 🔹 Look up meanings. I loved learning that "Olivia" means "olive tree"—so peaceful! Parent confession: I spent HOURS on baby name sites and even tried a name generator.
