did i ruin my friendship by catching feelings for my best guy friend after he helped me turn my life around?

Hey everyone, I’m in a weird spot and could use some advice. A few years ago, my life was totally different. I was making choices I’m not proud of, but then I met this amazing guy at a cafe. He never judged me and just wanted to be my friend. He encouraged me to get my GED and now I’ve got a steady job as a receptionist. Here’s the thing: I think I’ve fallen for him. He’s been my rock, but I’m scared to mess up our friendship. I don’t even know if he sees me that way, or if he just thinks of me as a friend he helped out. I don’t want to lose him, but I also can’t keep pretending I don’t care about him more than just a friend. Should I tell him how I feel or just keep it to myself?
