Halawet el Jibn, the only Middle Eastern dessert I love❤️

This dessert originally comes from Syria and has gradually spread throughout the Middle East, including Lebanon. The outer layer is made from a mixture of mozzarella cheese🧀, sugar, and coarse wheat flour, giving it a texture similar to that of a mochi wrapper. The filling is made from milk processed with the addition of orange blossom water or rose water, which gives it a milky, cheese-like flavor. On top are crushed pistachios. What sets it apart from other Middle Eastern desserts is that it's not greasy at all! When eaten with the accompanying syrup, it enhances the flavor even more, and the syrup also has a delicate rose fragrance. #Food tours #dessert #Share my food
