does anyone else have a dog who acts like a vacuum for random food?

My dog will literally eat anything she finds on the floor. Today she snatched up a pickle before I could even blink. She looked so proud, too! Is this normal? Should I be worried about her eating random stuff like that? I try to keep things clean, but she’s faster than me. Any tips for keeping her safe or teaching her to leave things alone?
