Last night, my 10-year-old looked at me with those big, determined eyes and said, "Mom, you make me look like a baby." It stopped me in my tracks. I realized how quickly she’s growing up, wanting more independence and to be seen as her own person. It’s hard to find the balance between keeping her safe and letting her spread her wings.
