Today, Dexter and I hit the sidewalk for some fresh air and sunshine. He was absolutely loving it—tail wagging, nose sniffing every little thing. I always make sure he’s got his harness on snug and bring a water bottle for both of us. Little things like that keep walks safe and fun. I’ve learned that letting Dexter set the pace makes our strolls way more enjoyable. Sometimes he wants to jog, sometimes he just wants to sit and watch the world go by. Either way, I’m there for it.
