did i just ruin my relationship forever by accusing her of cheating?

So, I messed up big time. I accused my girlfriend of cheating on me, and now I feel like the worst person ever. There wasn’t any real proof, just a bunch of dumb assumptions and my own insecurities. She was super hurt and now things are super awkward between us. She says she still loves me, but I can tell she’s keeping her distance. I’ve apologized a bunch, but I don’t know if that’s enough. I’m scared I broke her trust for good. I really care about her and don’t want to lose what we have. Has anyone been in a situation like this?
