I went to a landfill to drop off some junk, and while backing into my spot, a piece of wood with nails punched right through my tire. A worker pointed it out, and I had to pull it out — it was a whole chunk of wood. They sent me to Walmart, but of course, they didn’t have my tire size. Instead, they slimed and patched it and told me to replace it ASAP. With no other choice and the sun setting fast, I drove 30 miles home, including some highway miles, feeling every bump and stressing out the whole way. The next day, a mobile tire service replaced it and told me the patch job was super sketchy. Looking back, I can't help but wonder: how close was I to a blowout? My car’s a small FWD hatchback and it was a rear tire — would it have been even worse if it were a front tire or a bigger vehicle? 🛞 Ever had a tire situation that made your palms sweat? #TireBlowout #DrivingAdventures #RoadSafety #FlatTire #CarTroubles
