Final Goodbye Photo Hits Hard 💔

Deanna Dikeman’s 27-year photo series of her parents waving goodbye is sparking a huge debate online—some fans are calling it the most moving family project ever, while others argue it’s too personal to share publicly. The last image, with an empty driveway, is breaking hearts everywhere. Is this art, or is it crossing a line? The fandom can’t decide, and the comment section is a rollercoaster of emotions! #DeannaDikeman #LeavingAndWaving #FamilyPhotos #CelebrityDebate #ArtOrOvershare #Entertainment

I think it is absolutely a beautiful sentiment 💕I lost my mother in 1968 and my father in 1982 and am so happy that I have pictures to look at.

In 1998, I left my own home in Portland, Oregon, & joined up w/my road tripping Mom & Dad! (mom was in her late 80's, & dad, just a few yrs younger!😲) WE HAD "25" GLORIOUS YRS TOGETHER, TRAVELLING THE HIGHWAYS & BYWAYS OF COASTAL OREGON & COASTAL CALI! WE HAD NEARLY 25 YRS OF RV LIVING! (WE DID RETURN TO THEIR HOME BASE OF OATMAN, ARIZONA, EVERY FEW MTHS, (UNTIL WE MOVED OVER TO THE NORTH SAN DIEGO BEACH AREA!) YOU ALL CANNOT BELIEVE, THE INCREDIBLE ADVENTURES WE THREE HAD! WE WERE THE MOST "OUTRAGEOUS, THREE MUSKETEERS!" We sadly lost my sweet dad, in 2022, & lost my beloved mom, in 2023! (EXACTLY ONE YR, TO THE DAY!) THEIRS WAS THE GREATEST LOVE STORY EVER! (BEING MARRIED NEARLY 80 YRS!) I AM MISSING THEN EVERY MINUTE, OF EVERY DAY! I WILL BE FOREVER GRATEFUL, FOR HAVING THE GREATEST PARENTS EVER! I BELIEVE THAT ONE DAY, THEY WILL WALK ME THRU THE GATES OF HEAVEN, W/ALL MY OTHER LOVED ONES, SURROUNDING ME!🥰

This series's photo's is a reminder of just how precious the family connection is. To have mom and dad waving good bye jst shows us we can't take life for granted. Because tomorrow may never come. There is nothing wrong with sharing the love and family bond. We need to do more of it 💕🙏. Thanks for sharing your post.

Wish I had thought of doing that. And now others (who still have their parents) going forward can do the same or something similar. Beautiful memories and a touching tribute.

They are her photos and if she wants to share them it’s her right to do so. It certainly isn’t crossing the line…

zin my grief, I'd drive by their home, but the new owners painted & re-landscaped. It was a shock, life is about change as my father would say😮‍💨

it reminded me of my husbands parents they would wave goodbye, and now they are both gone too. it's sad when they are not there to wave anymore. 🙏
