Is the job market frozen for good?

Every time I check BLS data, I sigh a little. Job openings keep shrinking. Mobility is at a low. Anxiety about the future is rising. The Atlantic calls it the Big Freeze—people stuck in roles, NGs struggling to enter the game. Glassdoor says 2/3 of workers feel trapped. How do we break out of this cycle?
