Is $1K/year too much or just right for skin?

I used to think I was low-maintenance with skincare, but when I added it all up, it came out to just about $1,000 a year. I go through three tubs of my favorite cleansing balm annually at $50 each, restock sunscreen every couple of months in a $30 3-pack, and stick with a $3 moisturizer from the drugstore that lasts me a few months at a time. The biggest expense? Botox—about $300 every six months to keep forehead lines in check. I’ve tried a few affordable actives under $20, but most break me out, so they end up as fancy body lotion. I was using Differin too, but the sun sensitivity was too much for my fair skin. Anyone else surprised by their total when they finally add it up? #SkincareBudget #SkincareRoutine #SimpleSkincare
