Overwhelmed After My First Driving Lesson—Is This Normal?

Today was my very first driving lesson at 32, and honestly, I came home in tears. I’ve never been behind the wheel before, and with no one to practice with, I have to rely completely on my instructor. Everything felt so overwhelming—the steering, the pedals, and especially all the instructions coming at me so fast. My instructor wasn’t mean, but I felt lost and panicked.
