Every spring, I spot these bright yellow daffodils popping up in my yard, and it’s like my grandpa’s saying hi. He planted them years ago, and somehow, they keep coming back stronger. I remember him telling me to plant bulbs in the fall, deep enough so squirrels won’t dig them up. He’d always say, “Give them space, let them breathe.” Now, I do the same. I make sure the soil drains well and don’t crowd them. It’s wild how just a little care makes such a difference.
